I remember the 2017 and 2021 bull runs—there were very few scammers and fake influencers back then. But today, millions of fake influencers exist, and 99% of them are scammers with massive followings. What are they doing?
The Scam Playbook:
1️⃣ Creating Hype – Since 10-20 meme coins are launched every second, these scammers build hype by saying:
“I recommended meme coins that did 100x-200x! Now, I’ll share the next 100x gem soon.”
People go crazy hearing this!
2️⃣ Launching Their Own Meme Coin – Once the hype is high, these influencers (scammers) launch their own meme coin and shill it to their community.
3️⃣ The Pump & Dump – The entire community buys in, some early buyers make a profit, but in the end, these scammers dump on their own followers, stealing all the money.
The Bigger Problem:
Because everyone is chasing 100x-200x gains, they ignore utility coins—the real projects with value. This is why the bull run isn’t coming! 🐂
